My First Posting

Well my blogging friends, I finally got round to getting a blog! It seemed a bit strange to publish a home page for bloggers, but not to have your own blog! First some thanks, especially Greg Mathews at www.cgiscripts4u.com who wrote the programme for Bloggers Home Page. Without him Bloggers Home Page.com could not and would not exist. If you want your own pixel site he is the man. Check out his pixel site www.5centpixels.com. Secondly, many, many thanks to all the bloggers who have made www.bloggershomepage.com a second home for their blog. I know its free but I do very much appreciate your posts on the homepage. Originally the links were meant to be free only for 30 days after which they would self-delete, but I must allow the page to become established. If you want a more permanent link then you are very welcome to buy blocks starting monthly at $2, but there is no obligation for the moment.

I am looking to add extra content to the page to make it the home page it really deserves to be. I will keep you all posted as it happens.

I would like to take this opportunity to give special thanks to some of the bloggers who are my favourites or who were amongst the first to post their entries:

  • Million Dollar Screenshot. Guillaume, you were the very first to put your blog on bloggers home page. I hope you are enjoying your adventures in pixel land and good luck with your pixel website www.milliondollarscreenshot.com

  • Lesmania-who else! Thanks for your help Rob. Check out www.pixelsitelinks.com for the best list of pixel pages.

  • Webby's World: our first techno-blog by www.joeanderson.co.uk/blog/about/ . A techie-blog that "non-nerds can understand some of....but "nerds wouldn't find patronising" Joe, Bloggers Home Page asked for your post and you posted. We salute you!

  • Hybrid/Kei-You reveal more of yourself in your blog than any other. All I can say in this short entry is stay strong and keep focussed on what is important. On a personal note I forgot to vote for you- Kei, I vote for you now. Check out www.widgx.com for cool and unusual gadgets.

  • www.toobig.net Jess, you are the late night surfer. Keep riding those web waves!

  • www.WritingUp.com This is a great blog-environment for those who wish to learn how to earn from writing. There is a strong sense of community here and the quality of writing is consistently high. If you wish to refine your writing skills and practice your craft this is as good a place as any on the web.

I would mention others but it's getting late where I am (U.K.) and I need my sleep! Once again, many thanks to all who have posted their entries with us and a future warm welcome to all those who are to come. Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.
