Summer in the U.K. feels as if it's almost over after the heat-wave of the last few weeks. If you are about to head for warmer climes and will be taking pictures with your digital camera you will need batteries, preferably the rechargeable type. At the moment they have a special deal on 4 X 2500 mAh AA rechargeable batteries including charger that is mains or 12V for the car, at a price of £14.99. These are just about the most powerful rechargeable batteries you can buy. Argos until recently were charging £24.99 so this is a great price. If you already have a charger then Wilkinson sell the batteries in a pack of four for £6.99. This again compares very favourably with a recent Argos price of £11.99.

Wilkinson is a something of an undiscovered gem. Although they have around 250 stores in the U.K. and are growing at a rate of 20 new stores a year they are not well known. The emphasis is very much on value for money for the home and garden including DIY, Kitchenware, Pet-Care and Personal-Care Products. Check them Out!

I have decided to use this blog to talk about consumer issues as well as news on Bloggers Home Page. I can't see the value in another blog that rants about personal thoughts and feelings as there are enough of these out on the Web already.
