Body Fat Index

If you are not sure if you're overweight then an easy way to check this is to find your body fat index or body mass index (BMI).

Body fat index is calculated by taking your weight in kg/(height in m) squared.

For example if you weigh 80kg and your height is 1.82m then your Body fat Index or BMI would be:

80/(1.82*1.82)= 24.

This is my body fat index (BMI) which is just in the healthy range of 18 to 25!

BodyFatIndex.co.uk
gives much more detailed information on body fat and what to do if you think yours is too high.
